About the hosts

“My husband and I recently arrived in Paternoster from Zambia. I was first introduced to Paternoster in 2014 when I entered a Braai/Barbeque competition – the South African Braai Master TV show. We had to camp on the beach in mid-winter and despite being freezing cold and salty sea spray seeping into every piece of clothing and dish we prepared I fell in love with this beautiful piece of paradise. So the plan came together and here we are owning a guest house and enjoying every moment. We would like to share that experience with you. I love to cook, to chat and to create. My husband likes to chat and take guests on boat rides to look at birds and share his knowledge of wildlife both on the sea and on the river. I think you should live every day as if it’s your last. See if you can do that too – even if it’s only for a few days at Gilcrest Place – believe me, it’s worth it!”
