Pumula is an African name for “rest”, and that is exactly what a visitor will find when entering the gates of Pumula. Here you can get away from the hustle and bustle.

Wake up to the twittering sound of birds, take a stroll through the garden with the resident guinea-fowl family going about their daily routine, relax next to the sparkling pool, enjoy barbeque facilities in the garden or sit on your own private balcony, sipping coffee or a sundowner. For the lovers of nature, the parkland atmosphere supports an abundant birdlife and over 120 species have been identified to date.

Pumula Lodge with its informal, relaxed and friendly atmosphere further offers guests a hearty ‘Tree-Top’ breakfast amongst bird songs, served in the well-appointed dining room. And in the evening guests can choose from a selection of fine restaurants nearby (within 10 minutes drive).

Booking Requirements and Payment

• Booking Deposit: 100% of the total is required as a deposit for 1-night stays and 50% is required for 2 nights and more. This must be paid within 72 hrs from making the booking, to confirm.
• Reservation Balances: Balance to be paid on arrival.

Cancellations and Child Policy:

• NO SHOWS WILL FORFEIT 100% OF BOOKING TOTAL!! NO REFUNDS.
• Cancellations 0 to 7 days prior forfeit 100% of the booking total
• Cancellations 8 to 14 days prior forfeit 75% of the deposit
• Cancellations 15 to 21 days prior forfeit 50% of the deposit
• Cancellations 22 to 28 days prior forfeit 25% of the deposit
• Cancellations in excess of 28 days prior will incur the relevant administration fee of 10%
• Regret no children under 10. Children are charged per person sharing or single rate
• Rates subject to change without prior notice
• Credit card payment: Facilities are available (Master and Visa Credit cards)

• Smoking: Strictly no smoking inside the lodge or on the outside decks.
• Breakfast: 8 am to 9 am
• Laundry: No laundry facilities on site. Please ask your host about reputable laundromats in town.
• Noise: Please be considerate towards neighboring rooms and keep noise to a minimum.
• Visitors: Permission required before inviting visitors. NO VISITORSafter 21h00
• Keys: We suggest that you carry your keys with you at all times. When checking out, please return the keys to the hosts.
• Emergency: Contact numbers are on display in the passage.
• Swimming Pool: Use of swimming pool at own risk.
• Water restrictions: Please use water sparingly as water restrictions are imposed.
