Quay West is a cosy double-storey self-catering upmarket (4 star standards) lock up and go holiday home situated in Velddrif Quays close to the Berg River (second row).

Rooms

On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen with granite counter/dining and lounge area with a futon sofa which leads to an outside covered terrace with braai. Here families and friends can enjoy the quality time together.

The top-level hosts the Master bedroom with Queen size bed, separate dressing area and a spacious en-suite bathroom with toilet, basin, and shower with a shower panel. The bedroom leads to a comfortable balcony for sunbathing. Equipped with clock radio, ceiling fan, safe and hairdryer.

The second bedroom consists of 2 extra lengths single beds which can be converted into King size bed. The small en-suite bathroom has a toilet, basin, and shower. The balcony faces limited views onto the Berg River.

The “home from home” consists of the following:

• it is fully equipped with Smart-TV (with Easy View Multichoice subscription, alternatively bring your own Multichoice decoder with your own full subscription along) and connect to your own Netflix account

The Berg River offers:

• canoeing
• sailing, or just puttering around in boats.

Tailor-made boat trips starting from Bokkom-Laan promise to be a great river experience for beautiful views and birdlife.

Perfect sailing spot as the prevailing South-Easter blows off-shore, flattening the seas. Stompneus Pint blocks the South Atlantic swells, so you get a flat sea with a fresh wind.

A wonderful experience is to launch a canoe up-river and gently paddle down with the tide, maybe enjoy a picnic on an island midstream. The birds tend to ignore you when you silently paddle past, so its’ a great opportunity to take some astounding photos!

• Up to 2 guests sharing @ R 1950/night
• Up to 4 guests sharing @ R 2150/night

Autumn (01 March till 30 April 2021)

• Up to 2 guests sharing @ R 1680/night
• Up to 4 guests sharing @ R 1880/night

Minimum stay requirements:

• 3 or 4 nights during long weekends throughout the year
• 4 nights during Easter weekend
• 7 nights during Summer season
• NB: Stays shorter than 3 nights will have an additional administration fee of R 250

Check-in & Check-out Times

• Check-in time: between 2 – 6 PM unless pre-arranged
• Check-out time: 10 AM unless pre-arranged
