Kapensis Guesthouse in Pringle Bay, Western Cape is a luxury Bed and Breakfast Guesthouse located on a nature reserve along the Cape Whale Coast Route.

The Guesthouse is situated in the heart of the Western Cape’s uniquely rich fynbos region and offers breath-taking mountain and distant ocean views from our 8.5-hectare fynbos farm on the outskirts of Pringle Bay.

We have eight spacious en-suite bedrooms all elegantly decorated in African style with all the luxury you would expect, including a delicious healthy breakfast.

About the owner

Having spent many years in the hospitality industry, with a friendly caring disposition, I have the distinct forte of catering for our guests’ specific needs by contacting them beforehand to learn what would make their sojourn at Kapensis a memorable occasion. Fluent in a number of languages, as well as paying attention to the finest detail, I ensure our guests are contented in a serene atmosphere.

Policies

Deposit and Booking Policy

• The deposit percentage would be 50%.
• Deposits are payable within 7 days of making reservations.
• Full amount to be paid when a guest stays for one night.
• If arrival is only 5 days away, then the full deposit is required.
• Same day bookings are allowed.

Cancellation Policy

• – more than 28 days prior to arrival: forfeit 20% of the deposit
• – from 28 to 14 days prior to arrival: forfeit 50% of the deposit
• – from 14 to 7 days prior to arrival: forfeit 100% of the deposit
• – less than 7 days prior to arrival: forfeit full deposit + balance of full booking amount if a room cannot be re-rented.

Cancellation Fees

• All refunds are subject to an administration fee of R 150 to cover administration and banking fees.
• In the event of no show or premature departure, the full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged.
• Subject to interim changes.

Payment Details

• Full payment on departure is required.
• MasterCard and Visa credit cards are accepted with credit card details to be confirmed in writing.
• Internet banking preferred, with proof of payment.
• Bank deposits, with a bank deposit, slip to WhatsApp, SMS or e-mail as confirmation.

Children Policy

• Children older than 9 years are welcome, subject to direct supervision of parents.

Smoking Policy

Please note that smoking is only allowed OUTDOORS.
