We fell in love with this wonderful place at first sight – and we are sure you will too!

Kept small and private they offer 3 spacious suites (more than 50sqm), each with its own theme and decorated in a unique Mediterranean-African style. The spacious suites have private balconies with stunning and unforgettable views over Camps Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
Suites & Services
In the mornings they offer a delicious and extensive breakfast and in the evenings they open their private Table-Mountain-Rock Winecellar. While you are sunbathing at the pool you can watch the cable car climbing up Table Mountain or you can enjoy a sundowner viewing one of Cape Town’s unforgettable sunsets above the ocean. For late afternoons a comfortable lounge invites you to have a glass of Cape Wine in a romantic candlelight atmosphere beside the fireplace.
Zebra Suite
The Zebra Suite is located on the ground floor, and has its own parking space and a separate entrance. It has a garden, sundeck, and terrace with deckchairs, and a beautiful view of the sea from the bed through the palm trees in the garden.

Elephant Suite
The Elephant Suite has two balconies with sea views and deckchairs. Here you can enjoy the wonderful sea view not only from your room but also from the bathtub.

Leopard Suite
The Leopard Suite is located in the upper part of the house and has a spacious terrace with sun loungers and a wonderful panoramic view of Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Lion’s Head. Even from the bed is a breathtaking sea view to enjoy.

Meet your Hosts
Marion and Peter have always loved to travel throughout Africa and still travel extensively. Their affair with Ambiente Guest House began with a holiday in 2001. An initial joke to buy from the previous owners became a reality that ended in signatures on more than one dotted line: “We not only bought the place, but we also got married here.”

During their many years of travel, they have always disliked the anonymity of a big hotel. “That is why we decided to do something else and created a guest house with a very exclusive and private atmosphere.”
